There may arise a unique object from each coin.
Numbering on the edge of the coin is widespread and popular way to increase their collectible value. Each coin marked with a serial number becomes a unique, unmistakable, unique piece. The lower the number, the more attractive specimen.

Surface of a smooth edge of the coin provides space for placing a short text. It is pressed in a special pneumatic device around the perimeter of the coin. The text is transmitted from a special, dedicated punch. This is typically the name of the company or its motto.
On the edge, a hallmark of responsibility and brand manufacturers can also be placed, to do not be a disturbing element of art composition.
Numbering on the edge can be used for the coin of diameter of 34 mm or more. Only in these formats the edge provides enough space for the numbers and text.
